Inspired by Perfect Postage’s recent post about anemone flower wedding inspiration, I found a few absolutely gorgeous anemone themed wedding invitations:
How gorgeous is this Save the Date from Splendid Summer design? She’s calling them “summer night flowers” and with the deep navy blue background and shimmery gold “love” lettering, I’d have to agree that’s a perfect description. What is it about the combination of anemone flowers and calligraphic lettering?
Super chic with the kind of angular modern calligraphic script lettering I can’t resist, and totally adorable white anemone flowers peeking in at the corners. I don’t know what it is but I just love this design! I didn’t even know there was such a thing as anemone flowers but now I totally want some (I might just have to make my own). The best part is now I have a new designer, by dandelion design, whose aesthetic I love (I mean, I adore dandelion imagery, don’t you?) and whose work I get to show off at Pretty Wedding Paper!
Alright, here’s just one more (I can’t resist!):
These anemone flower wedding invitations are from Wedding Paper Divas (always a great source of fabulous wedding invitation designs). I love the handpainted look of the single large anemone flower, paired with fine, elegant script for the text of the invitation.
So, in sum, apparently I was living under a rock because I just thought anemones were merely pretty sea creatures – and now I am a person who is rightly obsessed with the simple, capitvating beauty of the anemone flower.
